Yangyang's MOUNTAINS
 
Osaeklyeong (Hangyelyeong)
1 Namdaecheon Centered on the Seoraklu, which is connected through 108 steps, the summit of Hangyelyeong is home to the Osaek mineral water fountain, Obongsa (Temple), Mangyeongdae, Seonnyetang, Manmulsang and Oknyeo Waterfalls, while sceneries such as the Shipiseonnyeo-tang, Hangye-saji, Oknyeotang and Haneulbyeok can be seen in the inner Seorak, and the Gugokdam, Osaeam, Chukseongam, Bongjeongam, Jangsudae and Baekdamsa are at the outer Seorak.

Daecheongbong (Seoraksan)

1 Namdaecheon

The Daecheongbong summit is famous for its sunrise and sunset, while there are severe weather changes and has strong winds and low temperatures, while short white pines carpet the ground. From the summit, you can get a breathtaking view of the entire national park and the East Sea. It is covered with snow from late fall to late spring, while azalea, rhododendron and cherry blossoms cover the mountain in June and July. There are also stones engraved with markings to identify the Daecheongbong. At the summit, there are hiking courses for Osaek, Baekdamsa, Seorakdong and Hangyelyeong, while the shortest course is a 6km course that takes up approximately hour hours to the summit from Osaek pass Seorak Waterfalls.

Seoraksan
1 Namdaecheon Seoraksan (Mt.) is the home to Daecheongbong, which is the highest point in the Taebaek mountain range, and the east side of Hangyelyeong and Misilyeong is called outer Seorak, while the west side is called inner Seorak. The Osaek district, which is south of Hangyelyeong, is called southern Seorak. Southern Seorak has always been famous for its Osaek mineral water and hot springs, while the Yongso Waterfall, Shibi Waterfalls and Yeoshim Waterfalls make up a fantastic view around Jujeon-gol.
