  • Location: Mid part of the Hanshui River (largest tributary to the Yangtze) located in northwestern Hubei
  • Climate: Moist subtropical seasonal winds cause hot summers and cold winters

  • Main Industries
    Its agriculture is composed of major grains such as wheat, rice, cotton, sesame, corn, etc and boasts the largest production quantity within Hubei. Based on its industrial backbone made up of more than 19,000 small and medium sized businesses, its spinning, clothing and shoemaking industries are highly developed. They also have a good production system for livestock feed. For tourism, they have national-level forest parks as well as the Zhuge Liang shrine

  • Location: It is located on the Simotika peninsula of Aomori prefecture. The Pacific Ocean is located about 33km north and south, and approximately 14km east and west.

    It has a relatively low temperature and there is much fog during the summer when the easterlies blow. In the winter, there is high snow fall and strong winds.
